Ingredients
Somyeon, 1 serving
Gochujang, 2 tbsp
Korean chili flakes, 2 tbsp
Vinegar, 4 tbsp
Sugar, 3 tbsp
Garlic (minced), 1 tbsp
Soy sauce, 2 tbsp
Sesame oil, 1.5 tbsp
Egg, 1 pc
Kimchi, 2 oz
Cucumber (julienned), 2 oz
Pear (julienned), 2 oz
Preparation
Step 1
Julienne cucumber and pear. Slice kimchi into smaller bite-sized pieces if needed.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix gochujang, Korean chili flakes, vinegar, sugar, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
Step 3
Cook somyeon noodles and egg. Rinse noodles thoroughly under cold water and drain well. Cool and peel the egg.
Step 4
Toss noodles with the sauce until evenly coated.
Step 5
Place noodles in a bowl and top with kimchi, cucumber, pear, and halved boiled egg.
Step 6
